Job title: US Offshore Energy Infrastructure Permitting Lead

What will you be doing?
- Directing the regulatory strategy for various complex clean energy infrastructure projects.
- Supporting the development of commercial proposals for offshore energy infrastructure projects.
- Engaging in external communication and strategizing with energy developer clients.
- Directly negotiating with regulatory agencies and presenting to project stakeholders.
- Managing the work product of regulatory specialists and subject matter experts.
- Mentoring junior staff and providing senior review of work products.
Are you the ideal candidate?
- A Strong and Determined individual with a “roll up the sleeves and get it done” mentality.
- BA/BS in a public policy or environmental discipline, with an advanced degree strongly preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in creating and implementing regulatory strategy for energy facilities, either conventional or renewable, with significant offshore experience.
- Familiarity with relevant agencies and permitting regimes at the federal and state levels.
- Confidence in developing regulatory strategy for new types of infrastructure in different regions of the country.
- Proven ability to negotiate and problem-solve with governmental agencies, energy developers, and stakeholders.
- Experience in managing and mentoring teams on multiple complex projects.
- Track record of successfully writing proposals for permitting complex energy infrastructure projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
