What will you be doing?

• Directing the regulatory strategy for various complex clean energy infrastructure projects.
• Supporting the development of commercial proposals for offshore energy infrastructure projects.
• Engaging in external communication and strategizing with energy developer clients.
• Directly negotiating with regulatory agencies and presenting to project stakeholders.
• Managing the work product of regulatory specialists and subject matter experts.
• Mentoring junior staff and providing senior review of work products.

Are you the ideal candidate?

• A Strong and Determined individual with a “roll up the sleeves and get it done” mentality.
• BA/BS in a public policy or environmental discipline, with an advanced degree strongly preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in creating and implementing regulatory strategy for energy facilities, either conventional or renewable, with significant offshore experience.
• Familiarity with relevant agencies and permitting regimes at the federal and state levels.
• Confidence in developing regulatory strategy for new types of infrastructure in different regions of the country.
• Proven ability to negotiate and problem-solve with governmental agencies, energy developers, and stakeholders.
• Experience in managing and mentoring teams on multiple complex projects.
• Track record of successfully writing proposals for permitting complex energy infrastructure projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
