Job title: Project Management Office Lead

Who are we recruiting for?

We are seeking a motivated and highly organized PMO Specialist for an international energy company specialising in solar power plants and modern energy solutions. This role will be central to the UK EPC delivery team, ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

What will you be doing?

  • Serving as a focal point for the UK EPC delivery team to ensure consistency and excellence in project execution.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams including document controllers, process managers, project schedulers, project managers, and engineers.
  • Ensuring project deliverables such as documentation, schedules, budgets, and quality controls meet the highest standards.
  • Driving continuous improvement across project delivery through tools, templates, and processes.
  • Implementing centralized tools for action tracking, deadline management, and portfolio management.
  • Monitoring project progress at a portfolio level to optimize scheduling, resource planning, and cost control.
  • Conducting periodic reviews of project documentation to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.
  • Assisting in conducting post-project reviews and lessons-learned sessions to identify best practices and areas for improvement.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in functional reporting with multiple reporting lines.
  • Technical understanding of Solar PV and/or BESS project design is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum is a plus.
  • High proficiency in IT skills, especially MS Office, with strong knowledge of Jira highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English, with German language skills considered a bonus.
  • Self-starter with a commitment to self-development and a passion for renewable energy.
  • Flexibility to travel, including overnight stays.
