We are recruiting for a fast-growing design and engineering company that is leading the global innovation in solar thermal and solar PVT with a mission to change energy for good. Their innovative solar designs have been developed into a proven world-beating technology that is now being scaled for a global market, making zero-carbon heat more affordable than ever.
What will you be doing?
-You will train and support a network of installers both in the UK and worldwide to allow their technology to be deployed at scale.
-Be responsible for planning and managing the installation of technology systems, ensuring that these systems are installed to the highest standards and continue to perform well throughout their lifetime
-Carry out installation in collaboration with solar thermal install specialists and develop these partnerships, improve technical documentation and training materials
-Help the Commercial team develop an installer network in all countries where the company develops customer projects, including identifying and vetting installation companies, negotiating contracts, and helping to train their staff on the company’s products.
-Manage communication with the installation partners, as well as with other contractors and suppliers at customer sites
-Plan kit lists for projects and manage availability and delivery of parts from our warehouses, including forecasting and tracking inventory levels.
-Plan projects in detail, preparing timelines, risk assessments, and checklists, ensuring clear ownership of actions
-Manage logistics in support of customer projects, including organizing packaging, shipping, and warehousing of installation kits and components.
Are you the ideal candidate?
-Advanced technical qualification in any science or engineering discipline
-Work in a relevant business sector, such as solar, HVAC, building services, or energy consultancy -Experience in a customer-facing role -Project management responsibility -Hands-on on-site experience -Some knowledge of electronics, plumbing, building systems, and thermal transfer -Project Management experience: Planning and managing complex tasks and prioritizing multiple responsibilities
-Knowledge about solar thermal technology and application
