Job Title: Head of Sales (Greece)

Who are we recruiting for?

A leading company specializing in maritime technology solutions is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Head of Sales to join their Commercial Team. The company focuses on optimizing vessel and fleet performance through innovative, efficient, and functional solutions in satellite communication, navigation systems, digitalization, and end-to-end cyber security services.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing a regional sales team across an assigned territory
  • Monitoring team performance to ensure revenue targets are met
  • Growing mid-market & enterprise B2B sales within the IT/Telecommunications/Satellite/Shipping and Maritime Industry
  • Developing and implementing regional sales action plans
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve client requirements and ensure a smooth customer journey
  • Leading and coaching the sales team to their full potential
  • Conducting weekly 1:1s with team members
  • Participating in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members
  • Cultivating a winning culture through performance expectations and proactive communication
  • Taking ownership of key Sales KPIs and sales metrics
  • Providing regular accurate sales forecasts for the assigned territory
  • Meeting with customers and maintaining good relationships

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in generating revenue as Head of Sales or a similar role
  • Experience in IT/Telecommunications/Satellite/Shipping and Maritime Industry
  • Proven ability in building, managing, and coaching sales teams
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong coordination and multitasking abilities
  • Experience in sales, customer service, and providing solutions based on customer needs
  • Ability to analyze and enhance processes through best practices
  • Proven flexibility and ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce CRM
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or a relevant field
