Job Title: Sales Manager – Maritime Services · Location: Dubai, UAE
The Opportunity
A well-established satellite communications provider serving the maritime and offshore sectors is professionalising its sales operation for the first time, and is looking for a proven sales leader to build and run it from the ground up.
The Impact You Will Have
- Build and lead a maritime and offshore sales team from scratch, bringing real structure to a function that has run informally until now
- Take full ownership of new business and account growth, with no geographic limits placed on the territory
- Report directly into the CEO with genuine autonomy over sales strategy, structure and KPIs
- Convert an already strong market reputation and installed client base into growth well beyond the current organic run rate
- Professionalise commercial process, from proposals through to structured account planning
What Success Looks Like
- 5+ years’ sales experience within maritime, offshore or satellite communications, ideally in a leadership capacity
- A track record of bringing structure and discipline to a sales function, not just hitting a personal number
- Comfortable operating and communicating at management level with demanding, long sales-cycle clients
- Able to make an immediate impact without a lengthy ramp-up period
- A strategic operator who thinks in account plans and market approach, not just activity
