The Opportunity
A fast-scaling global maritime connectivity provider is hiring its first dedicated Network Engineer in Canada. Having become one of the earliest resellers of next-generation low-Earth-orbit satellite connectivity in its sector, and now moving from single-network provision into a genuine multi-orbit, full-stack managed offering, the business needs someone on the ground in North America to help build that capability from scratch.
The Impact You Will Have
- Test and validate new hardware and software before it reaches customers, and lead the system integration work that keeps everything interoperable
- Diagnose and resolve network and system issues at the root, working across TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN as well as Linux/Windows systems administration
- Research emerging connectivity technologies and bring recommendations for continuous improvement back into the business
- Collaborate across engineering, IT and operations to scope and deliver projects end to end
- Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders as the North American function grows

- You think beyond the router: comfortable across networking and systems administration, with an eye on virtualization and cloud
- You document as rigorously as you troubleshoot, and hold yourself to security policies and industry standards without being asked twice
