The Opportunity
A global trade intelligence platform built through five acquisitions in three years needs one owner for its geospatial and asset data: the foundation more than twenty internal teams build on. That foundation has no single owner accountable for its vision, roadmap and adoption.
The Impact You Will Have
- Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for the geospatial, asset and event data other teams build on
- Act as the primary product voice for this data inside a company-wide data unification programme
- Drive migration from legacy, siloed solutions onto one shared platform
- Shape the quality and consistency of the intelligence this business delivers to clients
- Win buy-in from twenty-plus stakeholder teams and build the case for platform investment
What Success Looks Like
- You have owned a shared or platform product before, not just a feature roadmap
- You can be pulled in many directions by stakeholders and still hold a straight roadmap
- You are technical enough to challenge a data pipeline or event-driven decision without writing the code yourself
- You can sell a platform internally as convincingly as most people sell a product externally
- You default to ownership over process, and action over waiting for consensus
