Job Title: Marine Electronics Engineer
Location: Limassol or Piraeus (Hybrid)
The Opportunity
Our client is scaling its field engineering capability to match a sharp increase in NavCom and SatCom projects across Europe and beyond. These are new headcount roles, not replacements, created to keep pace with growing demand as the business deepens its split between SATCOM and NAVCOM and secures more complex, higher value service contracts. The successful hire will be a frontline technical authority on board vessels, protecting service uptime, customer relationships and revenue in a fast growing, Great Place to Work certified organisation.
The Impact You Will HaveTake full ownership of on-board NavCom and GMDSS service visits, ensuring vessels leave port compliant and operational.
Lead VDR Annual Performance Tests and radio inspections that directly safeguard client fleet safety and regulatory approvals.
Act as a trusted technical partner to key shipmanagement clients, strengthening long term service relationships.
Provide high quality remote troubleshooting that reduces costly call outs and vessel downtime.
Feed real world insights from the field back into technical, coordination and product teams to sharpen future delivery.
What Success Looks Like
Minimum 3 years hands on experience with navigation and communication systems, confident working independently on board.
Strong GMDSS / VDR exposure, ideally with a GMDSS General Operator licence and proven VDR testing record.
Comfortable with frequent travel, extended periods onboard and “going the extra mile” when operations demand it.
Stable career history, motivated by responsibility, learning and team contribution rather than short term salary jumps.
Clear, professional communicator in English who collaborates closely with coordinators, remote support and senior engineers.
What Is on Offer
You will join an international, highly productive engineering function of field, VSAT and remote support specialists, working on flagship projects with tier one shipmanagement clients. The package includes a competitive base (flexible for strong profiles), overtime for vessel attendances, hybrid working, medical insurance, structured training and clear scope to progress into more senior technical or leadership roles as the team grows.
High calibre marine electronics engineers who recognise this as a step change in scope, exposure and long term career value are invited to apply in confidence.
