Who are we recruiting for?

Our client is a growing organisation within the maritime sector, providing best-in-class commercial and technical management services to a global fleet. They are seeking a Senior Technical Superintendent to ensure technical excellence, safety, and performance across their variety of vessels types.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting fleet management with technical oversight and complex problem resolution
• Monitoring vessel performance, KPIs, and budgets to ensure commercial and operational excellence
• Providing proactive technical support both remotely and onboard to minimise downtime
• Overseeing inspections, vetting, and compliance with international safety and regulatory standards
• Leading and advising during repairs, incidents, and emergency response situations

Are you the ideal candidate?

• Qualified Marine Engineer with shore-based technical experience (seafaring background desirable)
• Gas or container shipping backgound beneficial but not essential
• Strong knowledge of vessel machinery, equipment, and maintenance systems
• Proactive problem-solver with analytical strength and a collaborative mindset
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and lead across teams
• IT proficient, motivated, and focused on continuous improvement
