Job title: Solar Project Planner

Location: Milan, Italy

Whom are we recruiting for?

The client is a utility-scale world-class EPC expert on the full range of solar power applications, ranging from stand-alone solar parks and storage applications to complex hybrid projects, with a very solid and ambitious strategy, and plans in Italy. Further to the EPC activity, they have also experienced project developers, with the capacity to support Solar PV and energy storage projects from inception, through the development and construction stages and for the complete lifetime of the project.

What will you be doing?

  • Create, maintain, and monitor construction schedules and plans to meet project deadlines
  • Liaise with managers and engineers to address project progress and resolve any issues.
  • Generate progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients, and stakeholders as directed by the Project Manager and Director.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Director or Project Manager to plan, schedule, and program major projects using preferred Planning Program.
  • Manage and track project costs, including budgeting and cost monitoring.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • A degree in a relevant field, e.g. - Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering
  • 5 years + Solar Power Plant construction experience in the renewable energy sector
  • Previous experience using Planning software: MS Project Level 3 and Primavera P6
  • PMP Certification
  • Fluent in both English and Italian
