Job Title: Origination Manager

The Opportunity
A well capitalised renewable energy platform is entering a critical phase of growth across both operational assets and forward pipeline.
With increasing exposure to merchant markets, hybrid projects and storage, revenue certainty and portfolio optimisation have become central to value creation. This hire is being made to directly influence how assets are monetised, financed and scaled.
This is not a relationship management role. It is a front line commercial position responsible for originating, structuring and closing complex energy contracts that underpin investment decisions and long term returns.
You will operate at the intersection of development, trading and finance, shaping strategy and executing deals that move the portfolio forward.
The Impact You Will Have
- Originate and execute PPAs, BESS optimisation agreements and structured offtake strategies across a growing portfolio
- Shape commercial strategy for both operational assets and new developments, balancing risk, pricing and bankability
- Build and convert relationships with corporates, utilities and traders into signed contracts
- Lead negotiations end to end, aligning internal stakeholders to deliver competitive and financeable deals
- Influence asset valuation, financing strategy and revenue optimisation across the business
What Success Looks Like
- You consistently close complex energy contracts in competitive markets
- You understand how commercial decisions translate into IRR, financing and asset value
- You bring an active network across offtakers, utilities and trading counterparties
- You are comfortable operating across ambiguity, managing multiple deals and stakeholders at pace
- You are credible with senior internal and external stakeholders, from investors to regulators
