Our client, a renowned leader in the maritime industry, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Technical Superintendent to oversee the technical operation of their managed vessels. With a proven track record of success and a commitment to safety and efficiency, our client offers a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to join their team.
What will you be doing?
As a Technical Superintendent, you will:
- Ensure the safe and economic operation of company-managed vessels under your responsibility
- Monitor all technical operations of vessels and ensure compliance with the Company SMS
- Collaborate with the Technical Manager to compile budget reports and prepare maintenance plans
- Review and approve repair and dry-docking specifications, and monitor associated costs
- Conduct inspections on appointed vessels and compile comprehensive reports
- Oversee the bunkering of LNG ships when required
- Implement Safety Leadership Behaviours and drive collaboration within the team
Are you the ideal candidate?
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Certificate of Competency (CoC) or relevant shore qualification (degree)
- Prior experience in Superintendence and a background in seafaring
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and technical operations
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
