A highly successful and award-winning consultancy at the forefront of offshore energy and risk advisory services. Our client is searching for a motivated and qualified Team Lead to head their Offshore Structures Team, offering leadership, technical expertise, and a strong, creative approach to managing challenging projects across the energy spectrum, including oil & gas and renewable energy assets.

What will you be doing?

As the Team Lead – Offshore Structures, you will:

• Lead a team of talented engineers and consultants, providing technical oversight and mentorship.
• Manage and deliver global offshore energy projects, applying your strong knowledge in linear and non-linear structural analysis, including fixed and floating structures.
• Oversee strength, fatigue, impact, and extreme wave analysis projects, ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
• Develop your team by coaching, recruiting, and retaining top-tier talent, creating an inspired and high-performing work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions for complex offshore energy challenges, including renewable and oil & gas projects.
• Engage directly with customers, identifying new opportunities and leading the transition towards sustainable, net-zero energy solutions.
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer requirements for technical excellence.

Are you the ideal candidate?

You’ll be a successful, motivated, and strong candidate if you have:

• A background in structural analysis of offshore structures, with proven experience in both technical delivery and leadership roles.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
• Previous experience managing technical projects from conception through to completion, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
• Commercial awareness and a creative, solutions-oriented mindset for driving innovation in the evolving energy industry.
• A passion for developing people, mentoring teams, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• A strong understanding of the offshore energy sector, including renewables, with experience in managing financial performance for long-term sustainability.
