Solution Expert Manager

Job title: Solution Expert Manager – Government, Defence & Intelligence
Location: London (Hybrid, with travel across Europe and the Middle East)

What will you be doing?

• Champion and lead the technical phases of the sales process, converting prospects into strong, loyal customers
• Act as the assured subject matter expert for advanced government solutions
• Engage with clients to deeply understand requirements, craft creative and compelling technical pitches, demonstrations, and proposals
• Produce improved RFP/RFI responses, high-impact presentations, and technical reports that drive contracts and partnerships
• Share insights across marketing, customer success and R&D teams, driving a refreshed approach to customer excellence and continuous improvement

Are you the ideal candidate?

• Qualified with 5+ years in pre-sales, solution expertise, or technical roles for government/defence/intelligence sectors (SaaS, AI, or big data an advantage)
• Winner’s mindset, with experience in government or military, intelligence, or major defence prime background (e.g., BAE, Airbus, MOD etc.)
• Strong presentational skills: motivated, confident, and determined to communicate across C-suite through technical teams
• Knowledgeable about AI, LLMs, and emerging tech; creative and able to learn new technologies quickly
• Brave and flexible: ready to travel (up to 40%) on mission-critical projects across EMEA
