Location: London or Bristol (Hybrid working model)

What will you be doing?

• Lead the production and checking of technical drawing packages for offshore foundation projects, both independently and by leading a small team.
• Generate 3D models of offshore foundation structures (jackets, monopiles, secondary steel, etc.) using AutoCAD and Autodesk Advance Steel.
• Check and approve drawings and 3D models created by other designers.
• Oversee the work of other designers.
• Produce MTOs (Material Take-Offs) and other requested documents.
• Ensure deliverables adhere to approved instructions, procedures, and policies.
• Find innovative solutions to technical problems.
• Attend internal and external meetings as necessary.
• Provide assistance to engineers.
• Develop and mentor junior colleagues.

Are you the ideal candidate?

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A HNC/HND in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience creating design drawings and 3D models for offshore structures.
• Strong experience in producing and checking 2D drawings and 3D models of structural components.
• Proficiency in 2D design drawings using AutoCAD.
• Experience creating 3D models using either AutoCAD or Autodesk Advance Steel (training will be provided if necessary).
• Involvement in offshore structures or renewable projects.
• A desire to continuously develop your skills and the ability to lead a team and mentor junior colleagues.

Additional Information:

This role can be based in London or Bristol, operating on a hybrid working basis. Staff are expected to attend the office a minimum of three days a week. Bristol-based candidates will be required to travel to the client’s central London office, with expenses reimbursed.
