Who are we recruiting for?

My client is a leading independent consultancy providing strategic, commercial and technical services for offshore energy projects using floating and subsea technologies.

They specialise in Energy Transition, Offshore Renewables, Floating Production, Subsea & Pipelines, Business Consulting & Technology Development. Working with a range of project stakeholders, including energy companies, investors, and law firms. We help our clients to manage technical, commercial and strategic risks and achieve positive project outcomes.​

With over 20 years of experience working on offshore floating production and subsea developments globally from early concept to late life. They are now going through their own transition, as they continue to move away from traditional fossil fuels and towards renewable energy projects.

What will you be doing?

As they grow their experience and capabilities in the energy transition and renewables area, they are now expanding their Electrical, Control, & Instrumentation team.

They are searching for an individual who is interested in working at the concept and front end of projects, helping our clients perform preliminary engineering to better understand the project, commercial, and operational risk.

The role would be working across 4 key areas hydrocarbon energy, renewable energy, abated hydrocarbon businesses (i.e. CCUS, blue H2), and technology development.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• Degree educated in a relevant field
• A deep and demonstrated understanding of electrical systems related to renewable projects

• A proven ability to deliver technically on projects
• A track record of providing valuable insights and engineering expertise to a wide array of stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead client discussions and presentations on offshore wind topics.
• Proven project management skills in multi-disciplinary environments.
