Job Title: Sales Manager, APAC

They specialize in developing cutting-edge technology to empower ship owners and operators to optimize their operations, improve efficiency, and maximize profitability via data-driven insights within vessel and voyage optimization, with a strong focus on high-frequency data.

What will you be doing?

  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within the maritime industry, understanding their operational challenges and objectives to position our client as a trusted partner
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
  • Identify potential growth opportunities within existing accounts, collaborating with clients to understand their evolving needs and align solutions effectively
  • Proactively identify and target potential clients through market research, networking events, and industry insights, developing a pipeline of prospective clients and converting leads into long-term partnerships
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and ensure mutually beneficial agreements, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure successful delivery of solutions and customer satisfaction

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with account management or sales in SaaS within the maritime industry
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English (Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the maritime industry, its challenges, and trends
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining productive client relationships
  • Ability to understand complex client needs and propose tailored solutions
  • Collaborative nature, willing to work across departments to achieve shared objectives
