We are recruiting an experience Project Manager for an established developer. With 500 employees in 5 different countries, they are committed to ensuring climate-friendly energy production for future generations. Their portfolio of services includes the development, execution and operation of solar power plants. In addition, they are front runners for new storage solutions and hybrid plants technologies.

As one of the world’s largest O&M service providers, they are ensuring decades of plant operation for their customers.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing all aspects of large EPC Solar projects in Europe, focusing on Germany & Denmark.
  • Ensuring the day-to-day successful execution of contracted engineering, procurement, and construction scope, covering performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, safety and quality, contractual compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Leading and managing large teams of international multi-discipline professionals.
  • Coordinating and integrating activities associated with engineering, procurement, and construction.
  • Acting as the primary contact for the client, providing routine updates and maintaining appropriate levels of communication between the client’s team and internal management and stakeholders.
  • Taking responsibility for risk and opportunity management, as well as recognizing, identifying, and managing changes.
  • Planning and coordinating all aspects of the construction process, including the selection of subcontractors and collaboration with engineers and vendors.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., Civil Engineering or industrial engineering) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar project or construction management roles.
  • Work experience in a related field, preferably within the renewables energy sector.
  • Advanced knowledge and application of Project Management Methods and Processes.
  • Basic knowledge of finance and the ability to act with limited supervision in the processing of finance-related information.
  • Experience in managing internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in the usage of MS Office products, especially MS Project.
  • Excellent German skills, with good English skills.
  • Team player with the ability to act flexibly, work independently, be self-driven, focused, results-oriented, and quality-oriented.
  • Good presentation skills with the ability to self-perform the work and demonstrate intercultural competence.
  • Willingness to travel.
