Who are we recruiting for?

We are working with a Qualified and Successful technology scale-up in the digital forwarding industry, currently seeking a Head of Sales to join their team. This Award-Winning company is at the forefront of innovation and specializes in Product as a Service (PaaS) offerings. They are looking for a leader who is Creative, Determined, and Inspired to drive their sales team to new heights.

What will you be doing?

As the Head of Sales, you will:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for lead generation, sales negotiation, strategic planning, and sales implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with other Revenue functions (Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships, and Revenue Operations) to meet company goals.
  • Utilize your strategic insight to align activities with overarching business goals and drive revenue growth.
  • Define leading and lagging metrics to measure the success of each business activity and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Lead the development of a high-performing sales function, implementing tactics to improve conversion rates.
  • Introduce the company’s PaaS to new markets, overcoming infrastructure setup challenges.
  • Drive the establishment of a global expansion strategy, including setting up new sales teams and penetrating new markets.
  • Successfully manage long sales cycles within large organizations, navigating multi-stakeholder landscapes.

Are you the ideal candidate?

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 7-10 years of progressive sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in sales leadership roles. Experience collaborating within a well-integrated Revenue structure is a plus.
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing successful sales strategies, ideally within a later-stage startup or Series B+ in the tech industry.
  • A strong background in SaaS, digital forwarding, or related industries, allowing you to adapt strategies to different environments.
  • Experience introducing new products to untapped markets and navigating the challenges of physical products and infrastructure.
  • Experience in building and leading sales functions from scratch in various regions.
  • Strong expertise in enterprise sales and adeptness at managing multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
