Job Title: Head of Product
Location: Remote (Europe preferred: Germany, UK or Spain)
The Opportunity
This is a rare opening at a company doing genuinely important work. A B2B SaaS platform managing over 12 gigawatt hours of battery assets across grid-scale storage and EV fleets, this business is in the middle of a deliberate transition: from monitoring platform to full-stack Technical Asset Management. The product function has, until now, sat within senior leadership. That changes with this hire.
A new platform has just been built and is being rolled out. A major round of structured customer feedback is imminent. The road map needs an owner. The team is small, experienced and distributed across Europe. They do not need heavy management. They need a clear product direction and someone credible enough to set it.
The Impact You Will Have
- Own the product vision and road map, setting priorities across SaaS features, analytics capabilities and the services model that sits alongside them
- Lead structured customer engagement to synthesise market feedback into a coherent and commercially grounded product direction
- Define where the boundary between platform and service lies, identifying patterns that can be turned into scalable product capability
- Bridge commercial and engineering teams, translating complex analytics and operational data into customer-relevant product value
- Drive deeper customer integrations that take the product beyond dashboards and into embedded, operationally critical workflows
What Success Looks Like
- You have worked in or closely adjacent to utility-scale storage, grid operations, energy trading or asset management. Batteries, grid-connected systems and power markets are not new territory
- You can hold a credible conversation with a battery engineer, a CFO and a grid operator in the same week without losing altitude in any of them
- You have operated in analytics-driven products where models, data pipelines and operational data were core to delivering customer value, not just a feature layer
- You are comfortable leading a small, remote team through direction and trust rather than process and oversight
- You bring a genuine builder mentality and active curiosity about what AI enables. You are not watching the shift, you are part of it
