What will you be doing?
As the Head of Procurement & Logistics, you will lead a qualified global team in driving procurement, supply chain, and logistics excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to achieve cost efficiency, quality assurance, and supply chain optimization.
- Evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and establishing vendor partnerships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Leading the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and contract management activities to meet organizational objectives.
- Monitoring procurement metrics, analyzing market trends, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
- Streamlining supply chain processes, inventory control, and demand forecasting to improve operational efficiency and reduce risks.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align procurement and logistics activities with business needs and priorities.
- Managing logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment to ensure seamless product delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations in procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations.
- Identifying and mitigating risks related to supplier relationships, inventory management, and transportation delays.
- Engaging with senior management and external partners to align procurement and logistics strategies with organizational objectives.
- Managing vendor relationships, conducting supplier evaluations, and negotiating favorable terms to drive value-driven partnerships.
Are you the ideal candidate?
We are looking for a qualified and inspired leader with:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, logistics, or related roles, with demonstrated project management and process improvement expertise.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills, with a creative and problem-solving approach.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, data analysis tools, and supply chain technologies.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, market trends, regulatory requirements, and sustainability principles in procurement and logistics.
- Experience in supplier and subcontractor auditing.
- Experience with Oracle Netsuite.
- Previous experience in marine, survey, or offshore operations.
