Who are we recruiting for?

A strong, award-winning global shipping company, one of the world’s leading independent LNG vessel operators. With a rapidly expanding fleet and ambitious growth strategy, they are looking for a Commercial Operator to join their high-performing team in Glasgow.

What will you be doing?

• Acting as the day-to-day contact for charterers and stakeholders, ensuring first-class service delivery
• Managing commercial voyage operations, including invoices, claims, and charter party compliance
• Liaising with vessels, agents, insurers, and terminals to keep operations smooth and efficient
• Monitoring vessel performance, costs, and KPIs to drive improved results
• Supporting continuous improvement, customer relationships, and emergency response teams

Are you the ideal candidate?

• Right to live and work in the UK
• Knowledge of LNG vessel operations, ideally with sailing time on LNG carriers
• Skilled in time management, problem solving, and decision making
• Strong IT skills and commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
