Who are we recruiting for?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised LNG and tanker vessel operator, known for its commitment to safety, innovation, and operational excellence. With a strong legacy in marine operations and one of the most robust safety cultures in the industry, they are seeking a motivated and qualified marine professional to support the technical management of their fleet.

What will you be doing?
* Support the Technical Superintendent and Fleet Manager in overseeing daily vessel operations, maintenance, and repairs
* Authorise and supervise the supply of spares, services, and stores in line with planned budgets and technical needs
* Attend major repair periods at shipyards and assist in drydock planning, retrofit projects, and statutory surveys
* Monitor vessel condition and ensure compliance with company policies and maritime regulations through regular inspections
* Contribute to long-term technical projects, including EU ETS compliance, MRV reporting, and performance improvement initiatives

Are you the ideal candidate?
* Qualified with a Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (Unlimited)
* Sailed as Chief Engineer, 1st Engineer, Assistant 1st Engineer, or 2nd Engineer
* Strong technical understanding of tanker operations, marine diesel engines, and retrofit projects
* Confident communicator with the ability to work within a collaborative fleet team
* Comfortable travelling overseas for vessel visits and shipyard projects when required
