The Opportunity
The global energy transition is accelerating, and the software sitting at the heart of it needs to be sold by people who understand it. This business is the leading renewable energy management platform globally, ranked number one for Energy Management Systems and Monitoring and Control by Guidehouse Research, with over 600 customers worldwide including some of the largest IPPs, developers and utilities on the planet.

The UK is one of its most strategically important markets. Battery storage is scaling fast, the SCADA footprint here is the largest in EMEA, and the business is growing. The previous incumbent has moved on, leaving a commercially significant territory open. This is not a role being created speculatively. There is pipeline, there are existing accounts, and there is real urgency to have someone in market.

The Impact You Will Have

  • Own and grow a commercially active UK territory covering both SCADA and SaaS solutions, with a quota in the region of £1.2m ARR
  • Build and manage relationships with the UK’s most active IPPs, developers and utilities, positioning a market leading platform against genuine commercial need
  • Act as the face of the business in the UK, spending the majority of your time with customers and prospects rather than behind a desk
  • Collaborate closely with EMEA colleagues, solutions engineers and a technically strong Athens based team to deliver complex, consultative deals
  • Help shape how the business grows in the UK at a point when the market appetite is significant and the platform is genuinely differentiated

What Success Looks Like

  • A hunter who is energised by being in front of customers and building relationships from scratch, not someone who needs an office environment to function
  • Solid grounding in the renewable energy sector, with real understanding of SCADA, grid connected assets or energy management, not just SaaS sales experience
  • A collaborative operator who can navigate a global, cross cultural team and bring internal colleagues with them
  • Commercially serious with the ability to articulate a technical value proposition clearly to asset owners, operators and technical buyers
  • Comfortable with autonomy, accountability and the realities of a scaling business where processes are still maturing

What Is on Offer
A base salary in the region of £90,000 to £100,000 with a 50/50 OTE structure, full remote working and the backing of a globally recognised platform at a critical point in the UK market. This is a role with genuine commercial ownership, supported by a strong regional team and a product that is already trusted by the world’s leading renewable energy businesses.
