What will you be doing?
• Take strategic ownership of full product lifecycles, from concept through to production and in-service support
• Lead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems aligned with certification and regulatory standards
• Oversee prototype builds, testing programmes and data-driven design improvements
•Guide suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality, cost control and on-time delivery
•Produce and approve detailed CAD models, manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
Are you the ideal candidate?
•Qualified and highly experienced Mechanical Engineer with Strong expertise in loads, materials, fluid dynamics and thermodynamics
•Advanced proficiency in 3D/2D CAD (Autodesk Fusion preferred) plus FEA/CFD capability
•Proven track record delivering products into volume manufacture using modern techniques (CNC, additive, moulding, casting)
•Hands-on marine or harsh-environment experience, with an appreciation for consumer-focused design and ergonomics
