Job title: Project Developer

Our client is a UK-based, award-winning developer of utility-scale solar and battery projects. With an assured pipeline of multi-GW projects across the UK and Ireland, and the strong backing of a leading global asset manager, they are moving confidently into construction and operations. This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant and successful renewable energy company at a pivotal stage of its growth.
What will you be doing?
Leading large-scale solar and BESS projects through the full planning process, including Development Consent Orders (DCOs) and other planning regimes
Driving community consultation and engagement with local authorities, statutory bodies, and stakeholders
Overseeing design development, land acquisition, and environmental assessments
Coordinating external consultants, technical advisors, and legal teams
Managing project schedules to secure consent and successful handover into construction
Are you the ideal candidate?
Qualified professional with a proven track record in renewable energy project development (solar, wind, or storage)
Experience with the DCO/NSIP process is highly desirable, though experience in other complex planning frameworks will also be considered
Strong stakeholder management skills-brave and assured in navigating regulatory and community challenges
Evidence of delivering large-scale projects (100MW+) through to consent
Motivated and committed to long-term project delivery (4-5 years plus)
