Purpose
This plan sets out how Executive Integrity Ltd will support the global effort to limit climate change.
It explains our commitment, where our emissions come from, the actions we already take, the targets we have set, who is responsible and how we will review progress.
It meets B Lab requirement CA2.1 and will be published on our website.
Our Commitment
Executive Integrity commits to supporting the global goal of limiting warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels by measuring our emissions and taking practical steps to reduce them.
We will only describe our climate progress using information we can evidence. We do not claim to be carbon neutral or net zero.
Where Our Emissions Come From
Executive Integrity is an office-based business. Our office electricity is 100% renewable and we have two electric company cars. As a result, our largest sources of emissions are business travel and employee commuting, so our targets focus on these areas.
We measured our emissions for the 2025 financial year (1st January 2025 to 31st December 2025).
The measurement covers purchased electricity, business travel, employee commuting, waste and air conditioning refrigerant. Our business travel, commuting and waste figures are estimates based on our records. Gas heating serves the shared areas of the building rather than our office, is controlled by the landlord and is not included.
Measures we already have in place:
- 100% renewable electricity for our office, confirmed by the building’s managing agent and supported by a renewable energy certificate (REGO).
- Two electric company cars.
- Annual air conditioning servicing with leak testing. No refrigerant was added at the 2024 or 2025 services.
- Local suppliers – our key physical suppliers, including cleaning, IT support, air conditioning servicing and safety testing, are all within approximately 30 miles of our Southampton office (in Hampshire and Dorset). Our cleaning provider specialises in environmentally friendly cleaning.
- A paperless-by-default office, using digital documents and e-signatures.
- We plant a tree through TreeApp for every candidate we place with a client. This is a contribution to wider environmental action. We do not use it to claim that we offset our emissions.
Our Targets
The targets below are specific, measurable and time bound. They focus on our two largest emission sources and on keeping our data and renewable electricity under review.
| Ref | Target | How we will measure it | Owner | Deadline |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| T1 | Update our climate data every year, covering electricity, business travel, employee commuting, waste and air conditioning. |
Completed data set saved each year, starting with 2026. | Operations Manager | 31st March 2027, then 31.03 each year |
| T2 | Issue business travel guidance to all employees, recommending lower-carbon options where practical (for example rail where journey times are comparable, direct flights and economy class). |
Guidance approved by the Co-Founders and shared with all employees. | Operations Manager (draft) and Co-Founders (approve) | 31st January 2027 |
| T3 | Anyone organising a group or incentive trip that includes flights must tell the Operations Manager before booking. We will estimate its emissions and obtain Co-Founder approval before booking. Any trip booked without this will be recorded and reported to the Co-Founders at the annual review. |
Emissions estimate and approval recorded for each trip. Any trip booked without approval recorded and reported. |
Operations Manager (estimate) and Co-Founders (approve) | From 1st January 2027, ongoing |
| T4 | Run a short employee commuting check (usual way of travelling to work, fuel type for car journeys and any change since 2025), combine it with office attendance records, then agree any commuting actions. |
Check completed and commuting data updated. Actions agreed and recorded. |
Operations Manager | Check by 31st March 2027. Actions by 30th June 2027 |
| T5 | Ask the building’s managing agent each year to confirm the electricity supply is still renewable and request the renewable energy certificate. If the supply changes, inform the Co-Founders and report it in the next progress update. |
Confirmation and certificate saved each year. | Operations Manager | 31st March each year |
| T6 | Continue planting trees through TreeApp and report the number planted each year as a contribution to wider environmental action. |
TreeApp certificate saved each year. | Operations Manager | Ongoing, reported by 30th April each year |
| T7 | Share this plan with all employees and give them a progress update every year. |
Plan shared. Yearly update sent. |
Operations Manager | Plan within 14 days of approval. Updates by 30th April each year |
| T8 | Review progress against these targets with the Co-Founders every year and update the full plan. |
Review recorded. Updated plan approved. |
Operations Manager and Co-Founders | Review by 30th April each year. Full update within 36 months of approval |
