What will you be doing?

As a Proposal Manager, you will play a strong role in the company’s continued success. Your creative leadership will be key in driving the development of proposals and managing the entire tendering process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and overseeing the tendering process to ensure compliance with commercial guidelines and strategic objectives.
  • Reviewing and evaluating tender bids, ensuring consistency and alignment with company goals, particularly in the USA.
  • Collaborating closely with Business Development and Sales teams to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Managing the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals, including cost calculations and risk assessments.
  • Engaging with subcontractors, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination during the tendering process.
  • Leading reviews with executive leadership to gain approval for risk approaches and strategic decisions.
  • Ensuring high-quality standards are met in all proposals, aligning with the company’s inspired objectives.

We are looking for a qualified and determined leader with:

  • Proven experience in tender management, business development, or a related role within the maritime or offshore wind renewable industry.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills both internally and with customers, vendors, or suppliers.
  • High attention to detail and focus on quality in tendering deliverables.
  • Effective time management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with renewable industry regulations and standards in the USA.
  • Proficiency in proposal development in Microsoft Excel and related tools.
