What will you be doing?

To support the growth of the business from requirements capture, through proposal delivery to project engineering.

  • Work with CTO and Engineering, BD and Sales to evaluate new technologies for integration with our core software systems.

  • Work with BD and Sales to help capture customer requirements, define solutions and develop proposals.

  • Work with the team to craft customer acceptance criteria for system and product delivery.

  • Work with Operations/Programme Delivery to ensure smooth delivery of systems ashore and afloat including final commissioning.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Communicate with stakeholders to identify what they want a system to accomplish.

  • Work with a team to produce test plans, product specifications, bill of materials, systems integration diagrams, and engineering specifications.

  • Install and configure operating systems, software, and hardware components, and clearly document the design, maintenance, and support procedures for routine tasks

  • Routinely test software for bugs, redundancies, and security issues

  • Conduct high-level root-cause analysis for any service interruption and establish preventive measures.

Are you the ideal candidate?

The ideal candidate will have maritime & software experience as well as strong work plan development and the ability to multitask efficiently.

  • Degree in electronics, controls or computer science backed up by marine engineering experience.

  • Time management and organisation skills - able to effectively manage the workload by periodisation and coordination

  • Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, controllers, electronics like relays, D/A boards, and Controlled Area Networks.
