Who are we recruiting for?
We are currently working with a global leader in battery and energy storage technology within the maritime industry. With a long history of battery system manufacturing, they bring together a wide selection of expert engineers, scientists, and industry sector specialists to provide solutions to modern-day commercial shipping.
What will you be doing?
Lead research & development projects that increase the safety, reliability, energy, power, and usable life of battery systems while decreasing cost, weight, volume, and time to market.
Manage R&D and customer projects to exceed KPI's including cost, schedule, and technical goals.
Coordinate with government regulators, certification bodies, financial partners, and suppliers, to deliver maximum value.
Support business development via direct customer interactions, speaking at conferences, and participating in industry working groups.
Are you the ideal candidate?
Master's degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, or business management preferred.
Exposure and understanding of the maritime and commercial shipping sector.
3+ years of experience in technical project management essential.
3+ years of experience with battery and energy storage development strongly preferred.
Experience with electro-mechanical manufacturing preferred.
Experience with scheduling & task management tools and familiarity with data analysis tools like Python and Matlab preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams and support business development.
