Executive Integrity has partnered exclusively with a leading marine consultancy to find them an exceptional Naval Architect.
What will you be doing?
Work includes incident investigations, claims support, general marine inspections, advice on marine matters, expert witness work, salvage & wreck removal.
Provide expert witness work in court
Detailed report writing
Travelling is an essential part of the role, and this can be at short notice and for extended periods
.
Are you the ideal candidate?
Must be a degree qualified Naval Architect
Beneficial to have previously worked in the marine consultancy sector but not essential
Must have an excellent working knowledge of shipbuilding, vessel types, regulatory regimes, classification, insurance, marine operations etc.
Beneficial to have in-depth knowledge of P&I, marine claims, legal issues, incident investigation and salvage.
Must have some practical (field) experience, e.g. in a shipyard, onboard ship or surveying.
Must have a solid mix of technical expertise, including stability and first principles structures
Must have the right to reside and work in the UK permanently.
