Job title: Marine Superintendent LPG

Who are we recruiting for?
Executive Integrity is recruiting for a leading company in LPG shipping. They are looking for a Marine Superintendent who will be based in offices in Greece. Our client continually strives to provide safe, reliable ocean transport services to meet demand for liquefied gas.
What will you be doing?
This position is the Single Point of Contact for the management of nominated Vessels. This person will over see the planning, operations and performance of assigned vessels within the LPG fleet.
Some duties include:
Manage all assigned vessels for day to day Marine functions in close cooperation with the technical and commercial teams
Coordinate and assist with vetting/ external inspections and respond to reports as required.
Conduct internal audits and onboard inspections. Ensuring follow-ups and close out of audit and inspections for the allocated vessels.
Handle routine and non-routine assessments, voyage assessments management of change and other support requests from vessels.
Monitor, analyse, manage and minimise loss due to accidents and incidents.
Are you the ideal candidate?
M.Sc or B.Sc in Maritime Studies or Master/ Senior officer's Certificate of Competency
At least 4 years of shore experience as a marine superintendent within a ship management /owning company
Experience on LPG vessels is a must
Strong knowledge of vessel's nautical, commercial requirements and voyage regulations
Knowledge of Quality Standards, environmental and safety standards
Knowledge of Legislation concerning Quality and Safety
