Who are we recruiting for

Executive Integrity have partnered a fast-growing and globally recognised LNG Shipping company, who are a supplier of LNG in small-scale energy markets lacking access to natural gas. With nearly $200M seed investment from 3 global leading LNG and FSRU Shipping companies, our client has developed an LNG terminal as well as 6 sea-going small-scale LNG supply and bunker vessels.

What will you be doing?

The Commercial Operator, reporting to the Head of Operations, will be responsible for the effective handling of LNG vessels and operations by communicating with Masters as well as with charterers, brokers and port agents.

  • The Commercial Operator is generally responsible for:

  • Communication and coordination between Vessel (Master), Vessel manager and Commercial team.

  • Post fixture operations and follow up communication between the Charterers, the Vessels and Technical Management.

  • Support the Commercial department with pre-fixture information and take an active role in the fixture process.

  • Follow up of invoicing of hire and rechargeable costs to Charterers or others in cooperation with Vessel Accounting.

  • Improve commercial outcome for fixtures in line with creating improved customer satisfaction by taking a proactive approach towards the interfaces.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced LNG mariner within Commercial Shipping Operations to join a fast growing LNG shipping company. Someone straight from sea will be considered but must demonstrate clear knowledge of LNG operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Commercial/Ship Operator is beneficial

  • Sailing time preferred on LNG vessels

  • LNG operations experience is required

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritise and and manage multiple activities

  • Energetic and can work under pressure
