Who are we recruiting for?
Executive Integrity are recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised LNG Shipping company for their London office. Our client continually strives to provide safe, reliable ocean transport services to meet demand for liquefied gas.
What will you be doing?
As Project Manager, you will oversee the implementation of the first of it's kind LCO2 carriers into our clients fleet. The Project Manager will oversee shipyard activities and lead a team of Superintendents to bring the ships into service.
Some duties include:
Lead project activities
Provide input and advice during the sales process on timings, potential project challenges and cost estimations
Overall responsibility for projects; including planning, schedules, scope variation and delivery to ensure that company products and associated items are being delivered to the shipyards or clients, ready for final installation and commissioning
Report to stakeholders and superior about process of projects
Development and maintenance of project plans
Assist with the organisation of mobilising and demobilising teams
Ensure safe working practices are carried out in adherence to H&S policies and practices
Are you the ideal candidate?
The ideal candidate will have sailing as Chief or Second Engineer on LNG/LPG vessels with shore base experience in the role of Project Manager, Fleet Manager or similar. This person will need to be a team player, willing customer-focused focused
Requirements:
Class 1 or Class 2 Marine Engineering
Sailing experience in Senior rank on LNG vessels
Understanding of technical, cargo and port operations of LNG vessels
Understanding of cargo containment system, cargo handling equipment and systems on board vessels managed
London based 3 days a week
