  • Developing training courses that optimize learning and maximize cost-effectiveness

  • Providing the latest relevant simulation and training equipment

  • Using stringent quality assurance criteria to determine concepts and procedures for training courses

What will you be doing?

As an Instructor (Ship handling) you are an integral part of the team, where your key responsibilities will include, yet are not limited to:

  • Delivering training to ship-board Nautical/Deck staff

  • Delivering courses according to the clients course delivery process

  • Developing courses/new procedures to be implemented onboard ships

  • Participating in Simulation Studies

  • Keeping up to date with current practices and technology

Are you the ideal candidate?

Requirements & Experience

  • Experience as a Captain, a Staff-Captain, or a Pilot

  • Extensive experience as ship handler

  • Extensive experience with podded propulsion is a distinct advantage

  • Cruise Ship experience is highly preferred

  • Experience in teaching/instructing, especially in a simulated environment, would be an asset

  • Fluent written and verbal English language
