With teams around the world, they are looking for their Head of People to join their team in London.

What will you be doing?

As the Head of People, you will play a vital role in supporting the executive team, shaping company direction, and reinforcing the organisation’s mission and values. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing HR strategies and operations, ensuring top-tier support across all company departments.
  • Growing and nurturing the HR function to build an engaged and impactful team.
  • Implementing global HR processes using IT and digitisation, optimising the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Designing and updating company policies and procedures while maintaining compliance with local and international legislation.
  • Creating talent pools, refining recruitment and on-boarding processes, and establishing succession plans to attract and retain top talent.
  • Elevating employer brand awareness by promoting the company’s culture and employee value proposition.
  • Establishing HR KPIs to identify key trends, support decision-making, and prioritise HR initiatives.
  • Managing annual compensation and bonus processes, as well as benefits renewals.
  • Enhancing the performance appraisal system to drive high performance and employee development.
  • Assessing skills gaps and training needs, coordinating training and development initiatives, and monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Promoting a positive working environment and inclusive company culture through diversity and inclusion strategies, improving employee relations, engagement, and well-being.
  • Reviewing and updating employment contracts and agreements and supporting HR Assistant with employee-related paperwork.
  • Managing and assisting with employee relations, including addressing issues, grievances, and exit procedures.
  • Initiating corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives in partnership with Marketing.
  • Handling confidential information with integrity and ensuring GDPR compliance in data processing and storage.

Are you the ideal candidate?

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • 10+ years of experience in HR leadership or progressive leadership roles in small to medium-sized technology companies (10-200 people), with a preference for SaaS or communications technology experience.
  • A BS/BA degree in Business, HR, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Prior experience in venture or private equity-backed start-up businesses is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, the ability to inspire and mentor teams, and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving growth in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing globally distributed teams, including addressing related tax, foreign legal entity.
