Our client is one of the pioneers of digital technology in the shipping and transportation sector. Their software optimises shipping, reduces laytimes and supporting the industry reduce their carbon emissions through efficiency.

This forward thinking and innovative company have an exciting year ahead. Hiring 150 additional people and launching a new product which will form a large part of this role.

What will you be doing?

The Director, Marketing is responsible for the branding of the Group's products and platforms. The Director, Marketing delivers strategic planning and development of market approach to our BtB markets, supports upselling strategies through his/her deep insight into BtB product marketing. The role has full responsibility of the public profile, PR, events planning and execution and develops our webinar strategies. The role will confidently present investment strategies with indications of ROI and ARR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, plan and develop market approach of our digital solutions (online presence, media presence, targeting, in-product marketing, websites, webinars, conferences etc.) in order to clearly establish and grab the category within each digital product

  • Develop and design a PR strategy in order to profile and deliver increased market awareness

  • Develop marketing strategy based on experience from BtB and BtBtC, and plan marketing to the Group's network via products, extracting more value out of the network (increase share of wallet)

  • Experience from producing digital marketing products, such as webinars, videos and how and where to extract the most value out of these.

  • Manages and develops external partners and collaborators, vendor selection

  • Develops marketing budget at product level

  • Manages (directly) a small team of 1-2 marketing and sales force specialists

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • B2B, Maritime, Technology, Multi-channel, branding, PR etc.

  • Pre-sales (lead generation/qualification) - management

  • Webinar and conference experience, planning and presenting

  • Ability to link investments in marketing to ROI and ARR

  • An experienced copywriter, communicator

  • Someone who has experience from a multi-brand corporation where cross-selling opportunities exist and a fresh view on marketing strategies.

  • Ideally, deep understanding of SalesForce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • Must be confident in working remotely and managing stakeholders and employees remotely
